About Ubud Monkey Forest

Officially known as the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, this lush 12.5-hectare nature reserve in central Ubud is home to hundreds of long-tailed macaques living freely among moss-covered statues and 14th-century temples. It is both a beloved wildlife encounter and an important spiritual site for the local community.
